About Village Therapy

All kids want to do the best they can; to learn, to have fun, to relate with others, to communicate, to grow and thrive. Some kids however, need a bit of help along the way to do that, and this is what we’re all about.

At Village Therapy, our team of highly trained therapists and admin staff come together to help our families make positive changes and achieve their goals. We meet your children where they are at, acknowledging their strengths and building on them. Our Village believes that all brains are amazing – therefore we work in a way that supports and affirms our neurodivergent clients in their everyday environments.

Village Therapy exists to build a wow team of professionals, who make life better for our clients.

People first

  • We approach others with compassion and empathy.
  • We see people, not disabilities, disorders, or job titles.
  • We treat others with respect and add value in our daily interactions.

Keep it real

  • We tell it how it is, and do what we say we’ll do.
  • We have courageous conversations.
  • We are authentic.

Always learning

  • We are always looking for a way to improve.
  • We learn from our clients, colleagues, reading and clinical leaders.
  • We are curious, we listen, we observe.

We are optimistic

  • We approach life with positivity and humour.
  • We always have time for a laugh.
  • We celebrate wins.
  • We always see potential.

Show, don’t tell

  • We lead by example.
  • We empower others.
  • We change lives.
