Alisha completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree at Deakin University in 2009 and has been working in paediatrics ever since. She has worked in a variety of settings, gaining extensive experience supporting babies and children (and their families) with mild to complex disabilities, as well as a wide range of developmental delays and challenges.
Alisha works with babies, children and families using a strengths-based, person-centred approach. She feels very fortunate to work in a role she is passionate about and enjoys the challenges and fun that working with children brings. Alisha engages through fun and loves using play as a platform for learning and building confidence that ultimately, increases function and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Alisha is a busy mum to two young children and enjoys spending time with her family, catching up with friends/family and reading when possible — although finding the time can be a challenge with two little ones!
