Meet Speech Pathologist Jodie Currie

Jodie completed her Bachelors degree at Deakin University in 2011 and went on to further her studies in Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University, graduating in 2014. Since then, she’s been passionate about helping individuals communicate with confidence and supporting families through their therapy journeys.

What Jodie loves most about working at Village Therapy is the incredible team she gets to work alongside. She believes everyone at Village Therapy is not only highly skilled and professional but also kind, generous, and genuinely dedicated to making a positive impact. She sees the environment as warm, inclusive, and truly supportive—a place where collaboration and compassion are at the heart of everything the team does. Jodie believes being part of a team that values connection, personal growth, and meaningful outcomes makes coming to work both inspiring and fulfilling.

I love being active and moving my body. Whether it’s going for a jog, or just being outdoors.

Spending time with my clients and families, supporting them to achieve their goals. I also enjoy learning from all my clients and team members.

Uno and other card games. They are a great way to connect and enjoy some time with others.

Going for a peaceful run on a beautiful day.

Spend time with children

I have three children and hold two university degrees.
